Check on restaurant consultancy is driven by David Mackenzie.  With more than 15 years experience behind him, David is a dedicated, motivational and professional character who is passionate about food and hospitality, which is apparent in his outlook.   From a young age David pursued his career working at a prestigious country house hotel as a management trainee.  Then working at the highest levels in France, London and Scotland, David settled in Edinburgh and has worked alongside some great people front and back of house picking up a wide base of skills along the way.  Having worked in hotel restaurants, independent restaurants before going into partnership and opening an award winning restaurant, café and setting up the consultancy firm.
